Movie Night
Wow, what a fun time hanging out in the youth room! We played ping pong and had fun running around until the movie started. The feature presentation was Evan Almighty! Everyone enjoyed seeing and hearing “God” (as played by Morgan Freeman) in the movie. They certainly picked up on all the symbolism with Noah and the great flood. We had popcorn, cookies, candy and drinks. It was just like being in a real movie theater but more comfortable! After the movie, we all had fun “doing the dance” while the credits rolled on the screen. They seemed to get a real kick out of seeing “God” dance!

This is an event that we are sure to repeat. Everyone had a blast during bowling and shooting each other in laser tag. After laser tag, we hung out in the arcade. The Kingdom Kid with the most tickets was Lauren. She had over 600 tickets. The funniest part was her dad trying to hang on to all of those tickets. I bet the next time we go back everyone will want Lauren winning tickets for them! Remember the claw machine with the stuffed animals inside? Victoria was able to grab not one, but two stuffed animals! The very best part is she gave one of the stuffed animals to Kimberly.
